Douglas
Lake (Reservoir): Latitude 35° 57'N - Longitude 83° 32'W
Douglas Lake is formed by Douglas Dam (202 ft), built by the
TVA in 1943
for flood control and power generation, forming a
reservoir of 49 square miles
Directions
from Interstate 40: Take exit 432B (that’s
highway 25-70). Head east on 25-70 for 2 miles and turn
north (left) onto highway 25E. Follow 25E for 5 miles
